The Sound of the Future Underground Rave Scene:

What sort of noisy and angry music are people going to be listening to in 2040 or 2060?

Will it be all sorts of noises? What type of noises? How is current music going to shape this?

Will it be something to headbanging to? Or would people want to relax?

This album takes a bet on this, and sets a Punk attitude, mixed with the jungle beats of The Prodigy. It takes the culture of the underground rave, mixed with the Adrenalin infused sounds of Metal Riffs.

The Punk attitude is the energy to rebel, to break away from the system that has people enchained, contained in a bucket, fighting to stay relevant and alive.

This album is a vision of one specific type of future, to dream that energy and cast it into an audible form and to experience it.

Personal Notes

This was a fun album to mix. The bass of the kick, and the overwhelming low humming bass of the synths were very hard to mix, and at times it seems like there is no room for something else to breathe.

I like this drowned bass, this sound that muffles everything around and only the pound of the kick can really satisfy... I loved it.

The guitar riffs add this youth carnage, this need to explode and fly, accompanied by the siren... I loved it.

It reminds me of the Instinct to survive, and to push aside the uncertainty of what's to come and the reaction to break away, the tension, and drive to survive beyond our current lives and mere physical existence.
